The 7th room

This is our seventh and newest room, a suite designed to have different ‘experience levels’. The underside of the room shows a life-size photo of the pine tree tops as they looked before the room was here. The stairs leading up to the room have several storeys with vantage points.

Inside the room you will find panoramic windows facing the river valley and the northern lights – the bedrooms have skylight windows for you to view the bright summer night sky. At the centre of the room there is a terrace, formed by a net floor with a naturally growing pine in the middle. Through the net floor you can see 10 metres below you and behind a transparent railing lies the vast expanse of the Lule River Valley. A breath taking, awe-inspiring and perfectly safe place to be. Also, it is practically mosquito-free, since mosquitoes don’t usually fly this high.

The room has a total size of 100 sq. m. whereof the accommodation takes up 75 sq. m. Here you will find five beds, two bedrooms with two beds each and one 120 cm extra bed in the lounge. There is a bathroom and a shower with eco-friendly features.

All of the Treehotel tree rooms have incinerating toilets and our sustainable Rukkamoinika water system with 3 litres of water for washing your hands.

The room is dominated by Scandinavian wooden interiors and textiles. The facade is a burnt wood finish, completely unlike that of the other rooms.

Something that makes the 7th Room particularly cosy is a temperature-controlled fireplace that lights itself below a certain temperature on cool winter nights. For summer stays, the room has built in AC, but you can also feel the summer breeze by opening the large sliding doors that face the net terrace, both from the lounge and the two bedrooms.
